How do you ........

I have tried a few times to place a Photo/Piccy, under my name thingy.

Could someone please (in step by step, not expecting that i have all the resourses or (oomlagatta) explain in simple and perhaps old fashion lingo how to get the job done.

Questions first

Are you trying to load an avator from your computer??

Are you using one from this site's list?



From your own computer the picture must be 80 by 80 pixels.
If you need one sized down I can do it for you.


From this site's list you will just need to select the one you like and click on it for a selection.

In the gallery on page six TwoUp lends a hand, of this page two pic 3 right hand side top.

If you could help that would be appreciated.

It maybe you are doing nothing wrong - the forumhas major problems at the moment for some users with posting - I cant post any pictures, Avitars etc and this is about the max length message I can post.

I am not overly concerned, concidering someone other than me is providing a service free. I think it is in the interest of Landrover owners to have such a forum. Previously you had to join a club to interact with others. Now you can meet so many from all corners easily. Has to be good.

Prior to last night i could not post at all for some time. At least i could still read and if that is not enough i can go out and jump in the Defeder, go for a drive and just enjoy same.

I will do the pic up for you and email it too you, Not sure how well it will work in a reduced size but.
Might do a couple of differant ones for you from your album and then you can choose.

TwoUp, dont get me wrong, I was not having a go at the forum just highlighting tha fact that not being able to post may not have been any fault of your methods.

Apparently the problem is outside of the control of the owner of the forum as well - so frustration for many is the end result.
