I am selling some wheels in the Markets section. A prospective buyer wants reassurance they will fit his 2.7 D4. I dont own a Disco and got the wheels as part of a deal only being told they were D3 or D4.
Please can someone help this guy and confirm they will be ok for his D4

Confirmation that the part number on the back of the rim is indeed the D3 part number is needed in case its from a Freelander which may use a different rim. The tyre size suggests it is from a D3 but that's not conclusive.

There are number on every spoke of the wheel, not sure what one might be the part number, here are a few of the most probable

BQWCA
114HT
RRC002
852MNH
7J17SEH2

Date of 08.

RRC002852MNH is the correct part number and it is listed as a 17" wheel to fit a D3/4

See RRC002852MNH | ALLOY WHEEL 17 DISCO3+4 | Land Rover | | Britcar (UK) Ltd (http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/90389/5497/alloy_wheel_17_disco3_4)

A google search using "land rover rim rrc002" seems to confirm that the rim is indeed D3/4 and not Freelander.

Thanks for your help, I cant believe how much they cost, 314 pounds plus tax, thats over A$600 per rim:o

IIRC that's about the same price I was quoted for a LR alloy back in 1985.
