Our Disco 3 doesn't have restraints in the 4th row but our eldest was old enough to utilise a child seat that did not require a restraint point and we got around it that way. IMHO the booster seats with the additional harness are more work to get kids strapped into and out of with not a lot of benefit as long as they have the centre anti dive strap to stop the kids sliding under the seatbelt.
Unless you have three kids under 18 months old in which case you have my sympathy:D

You can put car seats in the 3rd row.
Dealer told me you need to have points fitted by auto eng with a cert but there are some captive nuts under the rear sil that look suspiciously like anchor points - they are covered with plastic trim plugs. Was discussing this in a previous topic but I'm not sure we came to a consensus on this in this forum...
I have 3 seats across 2nd row and that works for us. Oldest is nearly 6 and in a booster and she has enough room to reach between car seats and do up her own belt without extensions.

Hi clintox,
We have three child seats across the 2nd row, but we did experiment with one of the seats in the third row for a while. There are 2 holes with plastic trim covers right near the tailgate, these holes will accept a child seat restraint bolt. We put our 3 year old in the third row briefly, but in the end decided that we lose too much luggage space, particularly since we're normally carrying a twin pram with us. So she was moved back to the second row after a couple of days.
With regards to fitting the restraining bolt, I put it in myself, but LRA told me that you are supposed to go to a dealer to get it fitted. I'm not sure why this is - literally all you are doing is screwing the bolt in.
