requesting advice

Hi all,
My sister is currently considering buying a Freelander 1 and would like an auto. The vehicle will need to travel from Katherine to Darwin and back so needs to cruise at 130kph. Can a TD4 handle this or would a V6 be better suited?
I am a series land rover man myself so cannot fathom what 130kph means:)
Any advice would be kindly appreciated.

Do not buy a petrol it will only bring grief. The TD4 is the way to go.
