How important is toe?
I replaced all four rod ends being careful to stay the same and while the ride is relatively good,( doesn't pull ) on measurement there is 10mm difference narrower at the front so it's toe in as is recommended.
It does bump steer a little but I expected that.
Should I worry or just get a shop alignment?
Cheers.

Toe in (closer at the front than back) means it will be more stable under brakes, toe out will make it nervous and darty.
10mm is a lot of toe. I'd be looking to drop that back to 2-4mm (toe-in) myself, or you'll eat the outer tyre shoulders...
I did my last align with a tape measure after doing the track/steering rods and then got it checked 'professionally' and they didn't end up changing it. Mine is set to 4mm toe-in (which is higher than the factory spec) which I prefer for stability (lifted, bigger tyres, racks, etc). Tyre wear has been very even.

So I might go measure rear tierod ends to make sure theyre 1230mm and follow your lead on the front, Thanks :)

Errrm. The rear axle isn't adjustable at all. Only the front axle. Are we talking about the same thing here...?

Well, bush front end align done. Lesson from the bike world. Ran string lines from the rear wheels to the front wheels to make sure the left was straight,( toe in bout 4mm) then did the right one from the rear as well (bout 4mm toe in). Best can figure job done :)
