What tools for what job a complete list

Hey all iv been quite lazy since buying my d1 a couple of years ago, it's the first vehicle iv let the machanics have and carry out services ect. The other weekend I needed to lob in and change the diff out myself due to time and funds. An easy job, the hardest thing I found was the fact I did not know what size sockets spanners ect to take under the landy with me. Over my many years of owning and working on my Toyotas I had complied a list on the top of my tool box of what size spanners tools ect I needed for each job. From a service to changing the alternator, to changing diffs and wheel bearing. There was nt much over the years I had nt done and my list was pretty comprehensive. My question is has anyone complied a list like this for a d1 they could share?? As I feel it's time I learnt my landy like I knew my cruisers

Mostly metric will do but if you have to drop a tail shaft for any reason or for a diff change 9/16" ring + open ender .
I carry a range of metric sockets and spanners with the only imperial spanners being the two 9/16" ones i quoted

Thanks for that I did conclude the tail shaft was 9/16 not metric like everything else appeared to be but was nice to have big nuts and bolts on the lower end unlike the cruisers with there 12mm nuts and bolts that always seem to end up rounding.

If it helps, 14mm will usually take over the duties of any requirement for 9/16"
As many know, thin open enders and thin wall drive sockets (3/8" drive) with a wobbler work best in this application.

Tdi 300 idler pulley. 15 mm socket, ratchet and breaker bar. Note nut on pulley wheel left hand thread

Alternator swap out. 15mm socket and breaker bar, 13, 10 and 8 mm ring spanner, 13mm socket. Screw driver for hose clamps

Rear tail shaft removal (new rubber donut)
2x19 mm or 3/4 and 1x 9/16 combination spanners
