They make nice watches but... IMHO the "Blue Angels" branding cheapens it.....

Geez that's bad timing for me as the BIL came back from Honkers recently with a genuine Rolex Submariner for me! Bugger

I regularly receive e-mails from hopeful merchants wishing to sell me a genuine Rolex at extraordinarily low prices.

Tell them to stick up their jumper they must be dreaming.:o
You can buy the same watch for about $630.
So they must have some margin on it.
I just did a quick google
Type in Flight Centre and check out this you can fly to Bali for $620 and buy that same watch for $10, even cheaper if you can haggle.
That leaves a lot of loose change to kit out your Landy:D

SWMBO went to China a few years back and brought back a pair of Rolex's for our two sons.
It cost more to have the bands adjusted here than what they cost to buy.
From memory neither lasted much more than a month.

Hong Kong 1987= mate trying to buy a Seiko dress watch and the nice non english speaking gent (we couldnt speak Canntonese either I note) He was refusing to rip my mate off by accepting the marked price of about $80! Honest:angel:
I told my mate he had to Haggle. I pointed at a Seiko diving watch and offered about $5AUD. we settled on about $20 total for both watches about thirty fun minutes later. Mine watch stopped a week later. Back in Sydney I approached a nice jewler who fixed my watch under warranty! My mate was impressed and asked him how much his was worth? The jewler consulted he big book and told him Seiko never made a model like the one he had!
Mine is still working though I note a Seiko service costs 10 to 20 or more times more than the orgional purchase price:D
