i'm sure I started a thread ages ago on the topic.......
anyways i'm getting close to making a purchase, both below have local stores and spares seem available
my budget let me towards this rig
HBX Rockfighter 1 10 4WD 4WHEEL Steer Crawler Hbxrockfighter | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HBX-Rockfighter-1-10-4WD-4Wheel-Steer-Crawler-HBXROCKFIGHTER-/301050515577?_trksid=p2054897.l4275)
but I found this which I believe would be a better rig

I have a crawler, a scaler and a slash 4x4. I would highly recomend an axial rtr kit for a beginner. Easy to setup, plenty of parts available and capable in stock form. It is definately worth the extra $$$
1.9 and 2.2 relates to the wheel size. 1.9 is scale generally.
You may be able to pick up a second handy from a forum like
thecrawlpit.com • Index page (http://www.thecrawlpit.com/index.php)
Be warned it is very addictive!
I made a custom tray and winch bar for my defender 90 scaler when I was recovering from my knee reco. They are great for passing the time when camping.
