Hi All. I recently spent a few days in Sydney at the cricket. Left the 110 wagon parked in the street in a nice area. When we got back to it after a few days we found the rear door window shattered. Not sure if it was an accident but suspect that someone took exception to it being parked where it was. My question is if I am able to source a new glass, does anyone know how difficult it is to install a new window in the rear door of a 2010 station wagon and are there any tips or tricks to carry this out. The LR dealer has quoted $850.00 for a new window installed!

When I smashed mine on the Td5 110 I got the local winsdcreen place to fit a new one, at first they ordered the wrong one with the square bottom corners, they ended up fitting a new Puma one that had the heating element and connections for the brake light $280 fitted.
The Td5 didn't have a brake light there but it does now, I bought a generic stick on brake light for it from autobarn $20 , the brake light feed was already in the loom under the door card.
I'll give you the Tip, For $850, The Local LR dealers wont be fitting yours either, they call in the local windscreen guy, So I suggest thats what you do too and save $500
