Hi all.

Thursday, I had Bruce Davis fit one of his performance ECU upgrades fitted to Uncle Buck.
Well I can tell you that it makes a whole lot of difference to the drivability of the 110. Stayed in 6th gear up the F3 on the way home and never hinted at needing to change down and thats carrying an all up weight of 2800kgs. (I had lunch)
I just went for another drive to feel the difference and it is well worth the spend.
Torque is the main benefactor here, as you need little throttle input to achieve the same result and this I suppose should equate to fuel savings as well.

Anyway, the power definitely does not match the suspension anymore, so tweaks will be needed.

I've got a BAS remap and have found the real benefit seems to be in the higher gears when it can really accellerate. Waste of time planting the foot in 1st or 2nd as they are so low it really isn't worth it.
It has certainly made the vehicle better at towing and fuel consumption is around 10/100 normally and 13/100 when towing about 1.8 ton.

Your next mod should be to decat the vehicle, and then save up for an Allisport intercooler ;)

Also, fit an EGT gauge so that you don't stress the engine when you race those hot hatches :D

The Bruce Davis remap is truly grand....it's essentially the Alive map, with tweaks. It does indeed improve fuel economy too. Lovin' mine.....:)

And before someone says otherwise, you can get the interface from BD to add / remove the map as one wishes....I did. ;)
