Defender 300 tdi engine oil

hi all
just a quick one!!!
what is the best brand of engine oil . and the best grade.
the book recommends :- 5w/30 to 25w50.

I believe a lot of us are using Castrol RX Super (15/40). We use in the the 4BD1s here as well.

Usually around $100 for 20l at Castrol agents and Supercheap when on special.

I use the Castrol as noted above, but any generic 15w/40 "diesel" oil is good.
