These ones, in fact:

well as you can see there are no pics here and if you look to my 2nd post down you will see why

Certainly better than a Porsche Cayenne or VW Touareg style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

After all, this one could go off-road :!:

Buggered if I know why those photos don't work (above) :?

If you view them on the site and then come back to the forum they show up fine.

I've never had this problem before.

Perhaps we need to get Incy or BB on the case !!!

From what he wrote on the forum, he is picky about his pics, so I suspect that the pics can't be hyperlinked because of the settings at the server end.

Hmmm, you'd think he'd have better things to do than spoil our fun. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Anyway, I'll go edit my message above so it doesn't take up too much useless space.

(No comments about all my OTHER posts required, thanks style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif )

Always check if a site will let you hot-link a photo, they will normaly have a copywrite notice posted somewhere.

The photo's worked fine for me when I first saw them and also for the next day but the site owner you got them from has had a look see and blocked the link I think.

Just remember when linking that your IP number can be recorded.

Didn't see a copyright.

Didn't know they COULD physically stop a link, but then again....

I KNOW NOTHING... NOTHING :!:

I don't like it.

- low profile wheels
- spare wheel is where? Under the vehicle? No, no NO!
- no visible recovery points
- the rear window is at a very shallow angle, which will use up lots of load space
- the exhaust will get ripped off

It'd be ok for fanging around on the road, but if I wanted to do that I'd get a proper sports car.

Ahem...getting back on track  , I like it. A bit chunky, but still no mistake which stable it's from. I know it'll be no Defender off-road, but then it's a soft-roader that has a different target market. Like I said about the new disco, if it sells by the bucket load and makes Landrover lots of money that they can spend on desiging us a really good new Defender, then that'll do me! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Hey im a died in the wool Landrover fan, and as ive said before in many posts I hate the direction the brand is going in this counrty, BUT I say if it convers some of the penny pinching Porsche Cayenne , BMX W5 (LOL) drivers to the brand then all is well and good.

What we need to do is let it be known that we want a defender in the range... we may end up with a situation like South Africa where they produce their own....imajine that Landrover made in AUS....then i recon we'd seel some - and if they could get some of their snooty nosed sales people out of the dealerships and put blokes like ...well me in there then we would see some things happening .

NB in saying "like me" I mean everyday , dinki di, bundy drinking ute driving 5th gen +, working class , not afraid to get hands dirty or to say wot me finks aussie !!!!!

I still can't get over the spare tyre underneath the vehicle issue.... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif

Still for the shopping-trolley mums and business execs who call the RACQ (RACV / NRMA) to change the tyre for them, I don't suppose it matters...

but it matters to me.
