Can anyone tell me how to convert from the standard ZF4HP22 AUTO classic range rover manual kick down to the full auto electric ZF4HP24 which come out of the p38 and discovery up to 04...

Reason ...well MY Standard 22 is tired esp behind gen3 ...
and I want a 4L80E but WOW very expensive and have to modify everything including drive shafts etc

So a mate of mine that has a strengthened 24 said it would bolt right up ..but theres always a butt" ...I will have to work out and chase the wiring and computer side of things...

So help is needed ...was thinking of buying a __s___....

I thought the go-for widget to run an electronic box was the compushift. (http://www.hgmelectronics.com/products-compushift-controllers/compushiftii)

SUPPORTED TRANSMISSIONS.....ZF4HP-24 (1)

Rebuild the 22 with 24 internals then no need for an ECU/compushift .

Hey Loanrangie,,

is this something you've done,,
or just heard about?

I understand my 22 is on borrowed time behind the 4.6:(
