I have a wifi setup at home on which there are three iPads, two iPhones and an apple computer and Apple TV (not at the same time).what is now happening is that my iPhone is asking for my daughter's App Store password to upgrade my apps but uses mine to download new apps. What is going on. Jim

I have not experienced this but go back into settings and remove the home wifi from all the devices (delete them) and then reestablish as if you just purchased them the devices.
I have used this for a different problem and worked.

I think your phone has two iCloud accounts active, it is possible but not always desirable.
You can use one a/c for purchases but a different a/c for iCloud syncing.
Suggest that you check which a/c is attached to the App Store and which is attached to iCloud.

That is because the phone is set up with your iTunes account so when you buy an app this is the iTunes account you use , but some apps were originally bought on your daughters iTunes account and therefore to update they need the password for the iTunes account they were bought on and not the one for the phone.

Exactly. If they are free apps, then delete them and download them using your account. If paid, then you'll have to deal with it or pay for them again.

Just get a real phone, get a Galaxy S4 :)
On a serious note.....
Our work fleet used to be iPhones because they were the "must have" phone at the time or were hip with the younger staff.
We now are phasing them out in favour of Android devices as they are easier to use and have better functions than iPhones.
