While it is nice to be a subscriber and help the running of the forum I don't believe it is compulsory - for sure extra features become available but I am sure the basic forum content is available to all.
Who told your this information (do not name individuals) - a Mod or the owner or just another member?
I am not doubting what you have said but I doubt the information came from any one in authority on the forum.

Gavin, re post your "What's it worth?" in the correct area.
The moderator who deleted it probably didn't notice you were a subscriber.

IIRC, you asked a "what's it worth question" in the general area. It was explained that there is an area (open to subscribers, of which you are one) to ask such questions. Your original post should have been removed from the general area and you are quite free to repost in the appropriate section.

Took me a long time to type it out, then deleted so now I won't bother asking again, might post it for sale instead, then everyone will tell me I'm dreaming. I had a bloke up he who wants it but I wasn't sure what to ask. Briefly it's a 2000 130 big cab with all the fruit, and juiced up

Gavin, I'm sure if you asked nicely that a moderator could retrieve your post from the mod pen and relocate it to the correct area. I understand your frustration, but aggression rarely gets good results.

Gavin people do make mistakes...
The forum does play up from time to time and people that have subscriber under their name have also had it disapear frm under their names and still be subscribed...
However coming in the general chat area moaning that the forum has turned to **** and how your not going to bother with anything any more seems a tad extreme don't you think for something that could well have been an honest mistake????
your post is more than likely retrievable everything is soft deleted.
have you bothered to point out to who deleted your post or even the mods team that you were in fact a subscriber so the situation could be rectified?
If not I'm disappointed that you have come in here for a gripe first.

The way I read the original (modded) post does not suggest the Mod didn't realise Gavin was a subscriber, quite the opposite in fact as he directed Gavin to the section. He was polite (apologetic) and simply stated that there was a specific section for this type of question and it was available to subs only.

Well Gavin
I have found your post however when you said deleted I was expecting there to be a report in the mods pen where I could retrieve your information..
What has happened is your thread has been edited. and there doesn't appear to be a report for it..the report should be there in the event the edit needs to be undone.
I don't know why there isn't a report i have searched through the reports one by one since december and I cant find it.
I'm assuming you never recived a PM stating that you had posted in the wrong section? sometimes Mods will copy and past the info into a PM so you can retrieve it in there should you want to repost once you become a subscriber (which you were apparently)
So unfortunately I cant retrieve your info for you but I will certainly bring it up on the Mods Pen so it doesnt happen to anyone hopefully again.
in saying that I will have a chat to the Mod they may well have done something with the info..if we find it we will reopen your thread and place it in the correct area.
Just as a side note it shouldn't of been placed in general chat, you may not have been aware of the what's it worth section for subscribers which iis why it was edited in the first place :)
