Puma CDL Dash Light

The CDL dash light on my Puma 2008 does not work when the centre diff is engaged. Centre diff does work, tested by jacking up one front wheel with trans in neutral.

Could another Puma owner confirm if the CDL comes on or not during startup. Saves me digging further if it's just a globe.

Just checked my Puma MY11, the CDL light does not illuminate during the normal engine check procedure. I then tried engaging the CDL & as I suspected I had to drive forward a few meteres before it illuminated. This was the same to get it to go out(reversed). Then tryed engage & disengage again it worked immediately.

Thanks for confirming.

Your description on engaging/disengaging CDL is exactly how my Puma use to operate sans light.

Now to dig further.
