Welcome Dan

Dave I still run a D2 - albeit not on many club runs - although if we make Pebbly Beach it will be in the D2

But how cool would a defender body be on a D2 Chassis with Ace - great handling but light and agile.

Hey Keith,
That would be cool, pretty much the Defender Xtreme are set up similar in config.
How did the Bubblebee go over the weekend?

P.S Pebbly is a great place to rest and relax.
Well worth the drive.

Hey Dan,

Bring Down the D2 and stay a night or two.
Even on stock tyres, you can still have some fun with no damage.
The old traction control works wonders !

hey grimace

first is i need to get the tyres i got of you on which is no prob but has developed an idle problem with the gas and wont run at all on petrol. my friend is a mechanic, diesel fitter, engineer etc etc and is haveing a look for me but its also having an issue when it gets hot. i thought it was the imobiliser or sumthin but someone on here suggested the starter motor soleniod getting radiant heat or something which can cause it to not connect properly. i took it to ricks but hes busy till 7th feb. as i only got before chrissy and got it registered last week its just some teething probs.

any suggestions would be great

Enjoy the club, I sure did for 5 years I was in it (now that I'm exiled in Vic I'm not a member anymore). Probably glad to get rid of me, more of a distraction that an influence!!!!

Anyway, finding a set of helpful minds and/or hands shouldn't be hard. The club needs more classic Rangies, too many series and defenders (say that ducking for cover!!).

We usually send out an email with news for the month and a reminder about the meeting, but we had some issues with the mail server, so it didn't go out! :(
