Hi guys,
Got a love job in at the moment, its a Series III LWB powered by a Holden 202. Ive just fitted a Weber 2 barrel carb (a refurb and jetted to suit a 202) I believe this is the same type of carb used on the old falcon engines?
Anyway, it starts, runs, but is running too rich, on idle its drawing from the secondary, as in if you block the secondary off it will stall. Ive ensured the mechanical linage to the secondary is adjusted right off and the butterfly seems to be completely closed, yet it still seems to be drawing from the secondary port.
Im thinking perhaps the adaptor plate is warped? Hope one of you old school carb wizards has an idea
Cheers
Regards
