cv's finally cactus

I have a mid 95 disco 1 and the front right cv is starting to make the usual banging noises they make when the are rs:mad:. Pretty damn annoying as I seem to spending quite a bit of money on the old girl of late. My question is I know that I need to get ones to suit abs model but some places are asking me if it is 10 or 24 spline. I haven't changed a set of these on a disco yet but I am sure that the spline they are referring to is at the spider gear end. If it is at the cv end is there a way to find out which without taking everything to bits first. If any one has done a set any input would be useful. Cheers:)

Im not a 100% on this but you should be to unbolt the 5 bolts on the drive flange and count how many splines they are. Where the circlip is with the shims to stop movement im pretty sure the spline came all the way out to the end. simple job just make sure u torque them back up correctly

i could be wrong but... isnt everything pre 94 10 spline? and everything after the update (94) 24 spline? thats what ive been led to believe anyway
