I purchased a bottle of Amarula cream liquor whilst out and about, on the label it reads that Elephants in Africa will travel miles for this fruit used in it "Marula".
Here's a vid of animals getting drunk on the stuff.:o

Been Drinking it for years, better than Tia Maria and Baily's.
Have polished off many a litre bottle in a session.
Great stuff with just ice
Drunk like a monkey comes to mind....:angel:

These alcoholic milkshakes on ice can creep away from you before you know it.:D

Hello from Brisbane.
While the alcoholic stuff is a nice tipple - ask an elephant, but not one who is already smashed or smashing so as to speak.....
However, you can also get marula flavoured milk or drinking yoghurt in most South African supermarkets - nice flavour.
Cheers,

Yes, good stuff. Reminds me - need to buy another bottle.
BTW - love the early African wildlife documentaries as well.

Yep, and I am drinking it here in the part of the world where the fruit grows most...Mozambique.
And...giggle...I just Googled Dan Murphy´s to see what a bottle costs in Aust....$26.99 per bottle!
Here in Maputo....locally...in the informal bars, the barracas, I can bargain a bottle down to 300 Meticais = 11.3688 AUD on today´s exchange rate.
