I'm about to replace my brake hoses with braided stainless ones from Britpart.
At the moment I am running standard suspension heights, but plan on fitting GEN3 bags a little down the track and resetting the offroad height without reaching the limit of the height sensors. Another 25mm on top of offroad height would be enough for me. I would retain standard length shocks.

I have the choice of standard or +40mm.
The question is, will the standard length hoses accommodate the later suspension lift, or would 40mm longer be better. Any problems running +40 in the meantime on standard heights?

Also, any feedback on the quality and difference in braking of the Britpart hoses would be welcome.

Factory standard brake lines will do the trick. You will only need to extend them if you lift using spacers or coils.

The suspension travel is limited by the shock absorber at full extension, if you have standard shocks and they are in good condition then your standard length brake lines will be fine, as will the height sensors, no matter what settings you use for the EAS heights.

I run my EAS at higher than normal in 'normal' mode to accommodate 32" tyres and I use that mode on and off road, wading mode is close to full extension on the suspension and really is for wading only and the highway and access modes are unchanged.

Bear in mind though that the Arnott bags are longer because they are crimped, if you overstretch them they will pull apart and you can't repair them. Standard Dunlop bags will separate if overstretched and let the air out and can then be re-seated if they don't settle back into place by themselves.

With standard length shocks the Arnott bags are great but if you ever put longer shocks in then you'll need to look at spacers between the Arnott base and the axle as well as extensions for the brake lines and height sensors.
