$17,695 Aus, you could have it at home for less than $30k?

Left hand drive, forget it.
There was a fully restored one in the UK last year on Milweb 10,000 pounds, that was a bargain.

Why? What's wrong with left hand drive?

Not sure - in Vic you can easily register and drive a left hook vehicle over 30 years old as long as the GVM is below 4.5 tonnes, has a 'LEFT HAND DRIVE' sticker on the back and the headlights are converted to dip as per a right hook vehicle. Full rego and Club rego is available on them.

Must be another Queensland thing. No LHD vehicles allowed on the Queensland roads?
Vampire, wouldn't I love to have one! LHD or RHD.

Not that I can find from a quick google. Same rules as in Vic and NSW by the look of it. Found one forum talking about proposed Qld laws to not allow a left hook vehicle to be sold, but no one was able to confirm it.
I showed SWMBO the ad, but the response was less than enthusiastic... :D

My Volvo is Left Hand Drive, and doesn't require a sticker as it is over 30 years old. Would make it interesting driving around Aus if the state rules are different! My wife also said no to the Vampire:( apparently I need to finish the other projects first.
I wonder what the 101 club would think if it did make it over here:angel:

On historic rego over 4.5 tonnes is not a issue.
Caution Left hand drive signage is only needed if vehicle has no indicators.
