Have a hunt on fleabay,be careful as D4 are slightly different from D3.
The fleabay ones for the D4 are more flexible than OEM but look identical, probably same for D3.
Whoops just re read your OP,you are already onto fleabay,i have only used D4 suitable ones.

Hi 4evershiva - original D3 rear mudflap design was longer than D4s and different to all other overseas markets. The non-OEM ones will probably be the shorter design (the overseas markets far outweigh the Aussie market). I don't know the difference between the D3 and D4 flaps.
I had the original rears on my D3 from new and they have survived pretty well but I made the fronts out of conveyor belting rubber and they too have withstood a lot of abuse.

from memory, there was a change to the wheel arch flares in the later D3's. Think it was the 09 variants.
there is a link on youtube thats shows you how to fit them...and the variation...and most importantly, when it was introduced to D3.
think it was powerfulUK...that did the video.

Go to supacheap auto, buy their largest 4WD mudflaps, PM Craig Disco4SE on this forum and you can knock your self up a decent set.
I purchased two sets, used Craigs template for the front and with a bit of playing about put a set on the rear as well. Happy with the result, durable which the hard plastic OEM are not and cheaper !!

George

Hi all,
Just thought I would let you know that I no longer have the templates.
I passed them onto "Datt" on this forum. He may be able to help you out if you PM him.
I have kept some info & photos however.
Cheers, Craig

Thanks George. So I checked out the supercheap website and its got lots of options for mud flaps. Do I simply pick the largest one and then message Craig for the template.

From memory I just picked up their large 4wd mud guards, they were simple rectangle shape. For the front Craig did provided a template but the rear I simply fitted them square.
A few self tapping screws and you will be fine.
