Who else rides moto??

So as we all know, the key to ones sanity (and sometimes insanity) is having a couple of toys to tinker with in the shed.
Just wondering how many of us Landy owners also ride??

What have you got?
What do you use it for??



Ill start, still on my R-date here in SA.
Which suits me fine as Im pretty new to riding.
I had a DRZ400SM, sold it when I started uni to free up some money (the joys of going to uni as a mature aged student).
But have since bought another DRZ400SM as I missed the bike too much. Good for students, as they have good maintenance schedules, and the 400 can be quick through the twistiest (keep up with an R6, but the R6 destroys it on the straight).
Two more years of Uni, then time to upgrade.



Have just been using it for hills adventurer, but looking at doing some track days soon.

Have just purchased a tailtidy, LED indicators and oil/filters to do a service.
On the to do list is an exhaust, rejet the carby to suit and airbox mod.
Just the usual DRZ mods.

I love the looks of that. My brother had a 2006 drz400e(I think)
We mainly have ag bikes but do have a 1980 yamaha IT175 2 stroke. It needs some work again. It went well and nice and light to throw around

I ride a Honda NC700S.

Rode a 250cc scooter, bought a Honda VF500 as a toy, and to learn to ride open class. Got that last year in March and bought the 700cc in May.


Excellent economy (3.3l/100km) and 12000km service intervals - bought it for those reasons as a daily commute and it's so far a great bike!

For the record - Black '07 Suzuki GSX1400 is what I ride. Love it !!!!!

Ive got a couple of toys to keep me sane.

My every day ride is a 99 BMW R1100S

And my race bike. 90 RGV 250 Suzuki. I just broke my record that I set last year at Lake Gairdner in my class MPS/G 250. Upped my speed from 130 to 140 MPH average over a flying mile. Hope to get to 150 MPH next year. Not bad on a 250. :)
