I currently have one of these--

I would really like to run my older 8800GT as a dedicated Phys X card but am stumped as to how I can fit all 3 cards in,, they are all dual slot cards.
I have read of cutting down the GPU PCI-e insertion pins so they fit into the small PCI-X slots.
The two 570HD's may fit in the PCI-E 4 and 8,, but the top one will run very hot with no air gap--

You can get extension cables for the slots, e.g.:
1x PCI E Express PCIe x16 Extender Cable Riser Card Molex Power Solid Capacity | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1X-PCI-E-Express-PCIe-x16-Extender-Cable-Riser-Card-Molex-Power-Solid-Capacity-/291051943796)
Although the longer you go the less stable the link will be, especially if overclocked, but then again this was with 30cm and 45cm extensions.

Mate I am running a GTX690 dual core GPU 2 x 2GB (4GB) and have no need for anything more even running the best of games in Ultra spec. I can allocate one core for Phys X or split it over both. There isn't any game to challenge the card.

Yeah true, I suppose it depends on what your needs are. I needed something high end.

Ok so my scores were:
Standard mode - no settings changed: 3203
Maxed settings: 1710
I think those are pretty high.
