G'day all,
I’ll be honest; my job can be very frustrating. The guts of what I do are help people to have money and improve their overall financial situation. Find me a person who doesn’t want thatJ. However most people are also very busy, working, raising families, socialising, essentially doing what they do on a daily basis. So whilst it would be nice to have money and improve their financial situation, it’s just not a top priority. Hence my frustration, as I know if and when a person does make it their top priority, they come in for a free financial health check up, they see how they can have money and improve their situation.
So my goal today is see who I can show why they should make coming to see me a priority. Firstly, think of your age. Ever had the situation where you only wish you knew what you did today 2,5,10 years+ ago? That you wish you had made that a priority back then and perhaps things could be so different now. Things might be ok today, but they could have been wonderful instead. Or the way things are now, have been that way for so long that you just accept it as normal. I’ve done that with back pain. I did nothing for years until it just became part and parcel of my daily routine. I knew I should have gone and seen someone, but for one reason or another didn’t. Then I hit mid 40’s and realised if I don’t do something now, things could get a lot worse. So I did, I made a time to see a physio and now have monthly check ups and I feel 100% better. Can you see where I am going with this? Convinced?
How about this? You may have been here or know someone who has or can relate to it. You want to sell your house, your not in a real hurry, so put it on at a price that will most likely not sell. Now people who are actively looking at houses in a particular area will notice if that property is on the market for a long time and will think that either there is something wrong with the house or will make low offers assuming the seller maybe desperate. In a nutshell, the house doesn’t sell.
Roll forward a year, your situation has changed, you have lost your job, moving interstate, a babies on the way, now you need to sell. The market has changed, less buyers in the market place and rates have gone up. You end up selling at a price lower than you wanted; worst still at a loss and now can’t get the new house you wanted.
We’ve all done something similar, it’s the nasty bite of indecision or leaving things till too late. A house we’ve missed out on, a job we really wanted, an investment that went through the roof, our financial future.
The old adage comes to mind “prevention is better than the cure”. Save your self from having to make painful decisions and act today. Day’s, year’s will come and go before you know it. So doesn’t it make sense to spend 2 hours, that cost’s you nothing to see how you can have money and improve your current and future situation financially? Don’t let hindsight be your enemy, let foresight be your friend. I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards

P.S. If you are not in the vicinity of the Gold Coast/Tweed/Brisbane, I can as I have with others conduct the initial consultation ( which is no cost to you) via phone and email.
