Hi All!!!
As it's stated in the manual some bolts (drive flanges in this case, but in general as well) need to be thread locked. Also, diffs don't have gaskets but are siliconed or "glued" on, bolted also ofcourse :) .
Which silicone and thread locker do you use and find good that is widely available in aus ofr these applications?
Thanks!!!

For this kind of stuff use "Blue" threadlocker - Loctite 242 or equivalent. Basically this is for any parts that will be disassembled at a later date for maintenance etc. Anything stronger like Red 271 will be difficult to remove later and often requires heat, considered to be a permanent lock.
For sealing there are a lot of silicone automotive based products out there, blue, grey, black. All depending on your application mostly use any or either one. I used black for the sump, but like to use Ultra grey for most other applications, for the main reason that it tends to disappear between aluminium parts, ie not a contrasting colour.

atv blue for the seal (theres lots and lots of different tubes with more or less the exact same stuff in it, it was permatex blue last time I got it from supercheap)
you can use loctite 515 which is a gasket eliminator but its pricey
loctite 242 for the flange bolts on the prop shaft and for the drive flange bolts
your choice if you want to use the gasket or the sealastic to seal up the flanges, I generally use the gaksets as you can usually get another shot with them on the side of the road.
