Hi all

I am looking at replacing my wife's old corona with something along the lines of a Freelander (3-5 years old). Is there anything in particular I should be looking for or wary of? One I am looking at, at the moment is a 2000 plate with 70K on the clock, but has just had the motor recon'd (1.8l petrol). They were not able to give a reason for that though.

Thanks in advance for any comments/advice....

Cheers

I have been told by certain people to buy 2001 or newer as the older ones had problems and also get a auto as they are better off-road

was advised - ONLY buy the diesel - TD4 is the best.

Petrols:
1.8 4 cylinder has overheating issues
V6 is a dog in the LR, but great in the Rover cars - go figure!!!
