Frontend Woes

I fitted new tie rod ends, drop arm and Im getting a knock intermittent steering round corners. Is this normal wearing in?
How does the steering damper feel when it fails and can anyone recommend budget replacement?

i cant say ive had those problems. check the upper and lower shock bushes...these always clunk when worn.
