Hello,

As I just bought a Defender as our touring vehicle I was wondering whether there are any iPad holders (not window) out there for the Defender.

Cheers

I got a ripper off Ebay for $50 that bolts under the seat rail. it is on a flex mount. I use it all the time for music and tunes.

Have a look a RAM mounts, they do a heap of mounting options, and their suction cups can be removed and replaced with screws/bolts. They have one of the best grips on the iPad I've found.

Have just removed one of these from the prado I'm selling.
Worked well.
Will be listing on eBay in due course.
Guess I could let it go for $50 plus post and packaging.
Unless you want to PM me and we arange something?

Raptor Engineering in the UK have a dash mount on their website, not sure how it mounts up but is bound to be high quality

Sorry, couldn't help myself:)
Was told it was a good idea tho when travelling with kids and you need to stick the iPhone up for them to watch a movie...

This is a universal Rhino mount. We went with this as the iPad is protected by a Griffin military spec case and was too big for the stock iPad mount.

It uses a small cast "foot" that bolt under the seat mount and a stiff alloy post that you bend into your desired position.

I made up a simple bracket just to reduce the shudder when on heavy corrugated roads.

If you do decide to go Ram mount

I can confirm that the ipad in an ottabox does fit in the Tab tite holder
