Can anobody tell me if Rover P6's power assisted steering box can be used to replace original SIII's box ?
Important for me is, that I don't want any advanced locsmith's work.
thanks for help,
adam

Probably not without a fair bit of rework. Two different styles of steering gear - LR has an integral steering column, the P6 has a uni joint arrangement for a separate steering column. But with money anything is possible.

may be a better idea to look at adapting a 110 type steering box and column or there is a kit available in UK it would be worth contacting , Zeus Engineering,www.zeus.uk.com or try www.difflock.com you should get some help from those two
