I have read and seen pics of a D1 Bull Bar fitted to a P38 Range Rover and am thinking of doing the same. The guy who fitted one to his Rangie stated it was a SRS compatible Bar. I have seen a few D1 bars for sale but the sellers dont know SRS or not. Is there a way to tell? what should I be looking for. Does it make a difference?

Hi,

Your looking for crush cans mounting the bar to the body. Ive got a D1 with an Air bag compatible Outback Accessories bar and I'm only round the corner if you wanna pop round to take some measurements sometime,

Cheers

Seen X-Rox bars on several D1s, but I'm not sure if they're SRS-compatible or not.

Mine was, I had to get the compliance sticker sent out as it wasn't in the box

Just thought I would add a little more to this as I have 2 disco's in the garage both with SRS bullbars (one of the bars is in the markets)
Here is a picture of the Outback Accessories crush cans

And here's the TJM one which has no crush can but both bars have stickers saying they are suitable for Airbags

Thanks
