The Wife reminded me today that Saturday is taken up with the kids sign on day for football, Rugby League.
So I thought with that & trial games about to start we had better get some predictions for the 2014 season of both League & that other game, aerial ping pong I think it's called.
Here is my predictions,
NRL South Sydney V NQ Cowboys in the final, South's to win.
AFL Collingwood V Essendon in the final, Collingwood to win. But I don't really follow AFL.
State of Origin Queensland.

BTW We will have 5 kids playing for the Mighty Ravenshoe Tigers this year, Saturdays are going to be very busy. Be really interested to see how the little girl goes in the Under 7's, with 4 big brothers to practice against she might do alright.:D

Well done, mate. Your children will thank you when they get older , ours did. We had our three boys involved with soccer, league, union , baseball , indoor cricket , touch footy, we had a wonderfully busy time. Our daughter took on dancing[ with mum], the Australian Youth Choir, [ great nights at south bank, we got to see her [ & the choir]sing with the Vienna Boys choir, the Qld Symphony orchestra, Qld pops orchestra, Great memories. You & your Wife will forge great memories as well, that will last a lifetime.
I have the following tips for the coming season- don't listen to me, I picked Parramatta to make the finals last year. If I had to, this would be my tips;
League....Melbourne Storm. Keep an eye on young Cameron Munster, from Rockhampton. May not get much game time this year, has bigger wraps on him than Billy Slater, at his age. Has the best coach for getting the best out of young players. [ think...Folau, Smith, Slater, cooper Cronk]
Union...The only given for me is, Israel Folau will be outstanding this year.
Soccer... the roar, of course.
QAFL...Sandgate will be up there.
And local league? The Brighton Roosters will be there, don't worry.
One of the early attractions for the senior side here is one of our members has had a brain snap, & is pulling the boots on at the age of 47. We are running a book on what minute the ambulance takes him to hospital. :DBob
