Hi there -
I'm a little new to AULRO and thoroughly enjoying it! I am also a first time Land Rover owner.
I have had a look through the forum and had a bit of trouble finding any leads for a timing change in Brisbane.
I have a 2006 2.7 TDV6 and I am due for a belt change, can anyone recommend a good workshop to get this done?
Also, if anyone has had it done recently, can you give me an idea of what the cost might be?

I recently had mine done (2009)at the House of Rover in Hudson Road Albion. I had all the belts changed, i.e. Hp Fuel, Timing and Alternator (I think) for $1500.00.
I have been there a few times and they are very good, but I suggest you ring first and get a quote.

Haven't had mine done yet so can't help with price.
Check with them yours may need the oil pump housing replaced as well as a precautionary thing.

I think you mean the oil pump housing Paul. A number of places won't do the belt change without changing that too.

Yer i will fix up my post.:p
Do they change it all years,or just the earlier D3?
What about D4,but i suppose there would not be many up to the mileage yet.

2007-2008 was seemingly the most susceptible on the Disco3 survey. Not sure about the 2.7 D4.
