Galaxy 10.1" Note

Does anyone have one of these.
Are they any good compared to ipad?

I've got the Note 8 and love it and the android platform.
Why do you ask about the comparison with an Ipad?
What do you want to do with the tablet?
What are your expectations?
Both have strengths and limitations.

Hi Woody,
Most of my electronic stuff at home is now samsung,plus I have a Macbook as well:)
I had a look at the new Note the other day and the case is a lot slimmer than the previous version.
Decisions decisions...

The main advantage of an Ipad over any android would be the availability of apps for use in educational classroom settings.
The main advantage of android is the ability to add memory cards and external usb devices.
The S pen of the note is the type of thing you wouldn't miss until you've had one, I find it invaluable for annotating pdf files for uni.
FWIW if I had to replace my note 8 it would be with the 2014 version of the 10.1

I have a 2014 note 10.1 i find its fast and very easy to use once you get used to it Compared to my laptop
