Hi All,

Looking to pump from either a sump or small 'dam' to a couple of tanks initially totalling 400,000l.

Basically collecting stormwater runoff, i.e. need a relatively high pumping rate or a bigger sump / dam.

Dynamic head is about 30m.

At the moment this set up is in the box seat:

4" 500W Solar Submersible Bore Pump with 760W solar panel & 40m cable package & free delivery (http://www.tuhorse.com.au/4-500w-solar-submersible-bore-pump-with-760w-solar-panel-40m-cable-package-free-delivery/)

All comments welcome!

cheers, DL

Ok, went to a field weekend at Seymour a week and a bit ago.

3 vendors on site........... 2 big guys looking at around 5k, smaller one around half. Going with them. Bigger pump, twice the panels and twice the warranty.

What is really amazing is watching these things pump in show mode just from the sun with a MPPT, no battery or mains connection (not the usual number of panels........ admittedly also with not much dynamic head).

cheers, DL
