View Full Version : Purnell good service and extended warrant.

I had a knocking noise in the front suspension. Dropped into Purnell who diagnosed it as steering rack linkage and bushes. I'm not surprised as the my10 has done 25k of its 80k on corrugated roads in the outback.

The work was done in a day and the cost of more than $2k claimed from the extended warrant I took out when the car was 3 years old.

It now drives like new. They also pointed out a stone chip on the front plastic grill that got worse when they washed the car... They were honest enough to point that out.

I bought my MY13 D4 there last November. I would also highly recommend their sales people as well. Very happy with the whole process, price etc. They put LR mats in free of charge even though I hadn't requested them. The Sales Manager said that he saw there weren't any in the car so he threw them in. :D

I got mine there too and drive from the mountains to get it serviced there. very happy. Happy you had no issues with claiming under their extended warranty as I bought mine there also!

Their sales team (led by John) are absolutely brilliant. I will not comment any further on their service department. :o
