Another new book ordered

Should be really interesting.
Over the years I have read bits and pieces and seen the doco's but this book should put it all together.

My father was based at "10 mile" south of Darwin and he and 2 others had just posted the Company Mail,when the PO was hit and with it the mail,they were in a 38 Ford ute 3 up and with no weapons, got straffed going down the road so took to the bush,when they arrived at camp and reported it to duty officer he ordered them to the brig,only minutes later the call came through about the raid and the order to issue each man with 303 and full mag plus 10 more bullets, to stop a possible invasion :o they were a transport company, closest front line troops were in Alice Springs
