I bought a rebuild kit for the ball joint in the pitman arm on my 88 County this morning.
I just spoke to my father and he has a RRC sitting in his yard. If the ball joint is good in it, will the pitman arm from the Rangie swap into the County or are they different?
Cheers

I know the later D1 pitman arms are different as I had to swap it when I fitted a D1 steering box to my County.
From memory they are straight whereas the County ones are cranked. Splines are the same.
A quick look on ebay for some piccy's seems like the RRC are the same as the County/Defender so you should be good to fit the RRC one.
Getting it off could be a different challenge though ;)

Looks like it's the same part number for all, including for a D1.

Later D1's are definitely different. The one I had to remove was from a '97.

Late rrc ones are the same as disco, flat ones. Early and county are cranked ones. Flat don't have ball joints in them iirc.,
