cargo barrier

Has anyone had any thoughts about a cargo barrier for a hardtop Perentie ? mounting points etc.

I made a barrier for my wagon from 20mm round tube (an old dog bed) and 8 mm Perspex (off cuts from a sign writing business). The top bolts to the inside gutter of the roof. The bottom bolts to a crab bar that's secured to the tub capping.

Can't see why the barrier would be different to one that would fit a 110 wagon. Wouldn't it just bolt up the same way but instead of being behind the middle row seats it would just be moved forward???

I haven't seen a civvy 110 barrier but I am imagining that I will have to custom make one for my Snr Commander which has the Radio Dist box and the box across the floor for the aux batteries. There are no mounting points in the Perentie either. I remember with a commodore wagon I had many years ago there was a turn type configuration that would enable you to take the barrier out easily. Just wondering what the options are.

I've made one for a 110 before and just made up some simple brackets, probably something like rar110 talked about on the roof sills, and some plates behind the wheel arches in the back. The cargo barrier was secured with four bolts with a wing nut type head. Easy enough to do. I did take some photos of the brackets at the time, but can't find where I put them. If I do I'll post them up here.

Unless it was used to run alongside Simpson's donkey in the last cavalry attack at Tora Bora while carrying the secret WMDs from Iraq after recovering Harold Holt's corpse frpm the Kamchatka Peninsula, I wouldnt be holding out for recognition from the wider Australian community of any historical significance of one of these thousandsof landrovers
