When i finished my shed a few months ago the old man gave me this laminated advert from Tasmanian Farmer November 24th 1966 to hang on the wall.

1961 Series II - LWB Ute (Grey)
1960 Series II - SWB Station Wagon (Green)
That picture would go down well!

thats beautiful mate - I'm just doing up the shed myself and am on the lookout for stuff but have found Jack - it must be pretty rare.

Except that the green one is a softtop!
Interesting to note that even by then the ute being advertised was a trayback.

thats beautiful mate - I'm just doing up the shed myself and am on the lookout for stuff but have found Jack - it must be pretty rare.
It was a good find, being an original print it even has Landrover advertising on the other side - will take a pic tomorrow.

Agree about the Plus 35 comment. My 1966 Series 2a was a Plus 35, I was never sure just what it referred to. In light of my experience, probably not the axles.
