Bonnet vents

Hi, while I'm putting the wheel carrier on the bonnet I thought I'd look at putting some air vents in it as well, I'm not sure where I've seen this done but I think I've seen it on a competition truck, the venting system with the holes in the side of the bonnet at the back, anyone done this got any pictures?

the hot air coming out of those holes goes in the opened vents under your windscreen...

Pretty sure Homer Simpson did it to his car with a pick...speed holes he called them...
