Hi RonMarg,
Welcome to the forum - I take it you have a RRS. You have posted in the Evoque section and for your vehicle you should post in the D3/D4/RRS section. I have reported this post with the purpose of getting it moved to the right section where you are likely to get more responses.
The main recommendation I can make is to tow in Sport mode as it seems to make the systems more responsive to the tow. Also unless conditions are perfect I tend not to tow in Cruise Control - I know it shouldn't matter but the gearbox seems to hang on a bit more where changing down via the right foot seems better - though Sport mode seems to alleviate this.
I am sure there will be plenty of advice forthcoming.
Cheers
Garry

Hi Ron,
Have you actually towed the Jayco with the RRS yet ? As you may have gathered, there can be some issues with the trailer lights dependant on whether the trailer has LED lighting or not. There can also be issues wiring in brake controllers for the unwary. Both issues are well covered on this forum, and can be accessed by using the search function. There are not too many problems that have not been experienced and resolved by other members . If you cannot find the answer after searching, ask away
Happy towing.

Make sure transmission has been serviced and a steel pan fitted for ease of future services. Most people recommend 60,000km services for tranny when towing.
Cheers
