Hose for fuel tank filler 35mm

We just fitted a secondhand tray/body to the D40 Navara ute (diesel)
The hose ID in 35mm/ 13/8" need to modify the fuel tank filler neck, any suggestions on hose or fittings.
It seems 35mm is an odd size for fuel filler hose.

I dont want to use coolant hose!

Can you cut one of the original hoses and extend it with a piece of exhaust tube ?.
