Independent service - Nowra area

Hi,

We are now down at Nowra on the south coast of NSW..Despite replacing the brake pads before we left NZ , I didn't replace the rotors.

I am getting a shuddering when braking at low speed, as in town , and washing the car now I notice excessive brake dust especially on the front wheels.

Does any one know of a good independent garage that would stock new rotors..I know back home we could get them on line for $100 or so , so I guess they should be around the same here.

Don't really want to go to the agents as we all know how much dearer they will be.

I would want them to fit them as well.

Anywhere in this area from Wollongong south I guess.

Graeme, any local brake place would be able to help you out (may have to wait a day if you need rotors as they'd likely not have them on the shelf) and if you get stuck you could always give Peter Bowtell a call (Welcome (http://www.mechanic2you.com.au/mechanic2you/Welcome.html)) he's a mobile guy and a LR specialist (he's in Wollongong).
