reverse camera install using satnav

Hi All,
I was doing a bit of research on reverse cameras today and came across this:

has anyone tried this?
basically shows you how to fool the system into thinking it is a range rover so it unlocks those features. sounds to good to be true, but...

I'm also interested in the Bluetooth upgrade has anyone done this?

Oh... I should have mentioned.
It is supposed to unlock the camera control so no need to buy a GVIF.
It is supposed to enable the 4x4 features.
also radio & phone on touchscreen.
