Hi all
Tried opening the car today with the fob and it wouldn't open. Tried spare and still no luck.
Changed batteries in fob and nothing.
Checked fuses and Ok.
Any ideas?

Might just need to resync the fob.
try this (off another forum).
With vehicle unlocked, take battery out of fob and then hold both buttons down for 10 seconds to drain residual power.
Battery back in then press lock four times and unlock once. That will sync the fob back to the ECU.
Hope it works:)
If not you might have to reprogram the fob to the ECU.
Dealer or Nanocom etc.
Cheers,
Paul.

Any chance you're suffering from the Wallan Services (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/90-110-130-defender-county/120574-static-electricity-puma-immobilised.html?highlight=wallan) type problem, aka interference from something else?

You absolute legend.
It worked.
I put it down to the guy operating crane with remote that caused it.
Cheers and thanks again
