Freelander 2 wireing for 12 volt charging dual batteries

In the process of buying freelander 2 sei6 2011 model from friends only 21000klms on it,going to use it to tow camper trailer for camping trips.i have two questions
1. I want to be able to charge batteries in the camper trailer whilst driving using the freelander as the charge source,am I able to run the 6b&s cable from the main battery to the rear of vehicle to an Anderson plug? then plug to trailer via the Anderson plug and charge the batteries?I will be using a fuse As close to both batteries and which is best to use a vsr or solenoid? Any help or advice is wanted.
2. Where is the best place to get a tow bar fitted? I live in grafton nsw.

Yes, but I think if you run it via an Anderson plug it may not switch off when you turn off the engine, thus draining your battery.
Mine has the power run to the trailer plug on the vehicle, then down to the trailer, where it goes into a DC-DC charger to give it a boost and then into the battery. Works fine when the engine is running.
Getting all the wires matched is the trick. Unless you're into electrickery, you might want to get an auto-electrician to do it. Shouldn't cost much. We had to use a 12-pin plug to get enough wires in for everything on the trailer (lights, brakes etc.) that needed power. I'm no expert, so I bribed my BIL for help.
