Has anyone got a picture of a Nara bronze D4 fitted with Gordon's silver 18" rims. Seen plenty of the black rims and I think (IMO) that the Nara looks better with the silver rims.
Cheers, Neil.

I'd go the dark grey. I looked at the silver as well......not a good coloured silver. Mine vehicle was silver though.
Heres a pic......

Thanks Craig,
Yeah might be the choice. I think grey would suit better than black with the Nara Bronze. I do like the black, especially on white, silver & red vehicles, but on the bronze it's a certain taste that needs to be acquired. I agree with you; the silver ones don't tickle my fancy, but I have not seen them on a bronze. I might ask someone to do a photo shop. Plenty of time as I won't be doing this in the first year.

If you go to the manufacturer's website, Compomotive, they have 8 or so pics of the rims on various vehicles including D4's, link here:

Great website too, the red D4 with the black rims looks very tasty.

I reckon the Black GOE's would look great on Nara bronze (my favourite colour if I had had a choice).

Hey Mungus, for what its worth, one of the reasons I went for the grey is that it matches the sills under the doors.
Black would probably look OK as well, but not for me.....

I don't mean to be a party pooper but I believe Compomotive UK have gone belly up. There is hope of a chinese manufacturer will take over doing these wheels.

Rubbish - we're still making and selling them - no Chinese required Glenn.

Sorry Chuck, I don't know. It's US based vehicle. Even if we found out I don't think we'd be allowed to have them here by the looks of the offset.

Glad to here that Gordon. Just waiting for a few deals to drop and I'll be ordering a set myself.

I gotta agree that that Nara pic looks the goods! Should be signing up for the vehicle tomorrow and being a build it won't be delivered till July. The finance manager will most likely freak out if I got them before the first 12 months is up, so I'm thinking it would be on the D4's first birthday. Plenty of time to consider. Hope you're still selling them then Gordon.
Cheers all.

I wouldn't put dark rims on my Nara Bronze D4 but the flat silver PD rims in the pictures do look rather slab-sided and plain. Maybe I'm just too accustomed to my double-spoke X5 rims.

No, I'm co-designer/ip-holder of the rims, and get approached every second week by people believing rumours flamed by several ex-Compomotive employees with an axe to grind.
