nice, the beach is such a good place to get away to.

why 12psi in the back? just curious.
Forgive my lack of knowledge on the more refined landies, but what does HSE stand for.

HSE stands for Higher Standard Equipment, so I've been told, or permission to stick your nose up a little further up in the air :-)

Nice photo, and nice car. Good to see it out and about for what it's designed to do, enjoying the great outdoors.

Great to hear from someone travelling to NSI or Straddie has we know it. Did you manage to get into the center of the island? Tripod Track, Brown Lake and power line tracks?

Beware the miners and their leases!!!! Once the mining goes lets hope the island is opened up to more 4WD's.

We did visit brown lake a few times but didn't venture up the sandy track (lack of knowledge where we end up) if I was here with a mate if be exploring more but wife & 3yr old don't mix well with being bogged or lost :)
Tyres rear down to 12 to get a nice bulge with the low profile because the sand was very soft & a bit chopped up at the entry / exit and it's a little steep. Left the fronts up a bit more so less risk of rolling off rim when steering (50mins of the 1 hour driving was on the hard edge near the low tide so 60km/h)

Yes hse is the highest spec model in the 08 fl2. Wanted the hse for the memory seats & mirrors - big difference in height

It will become a national park which will more than likely be locked up with a few walking tracks

Dreaming.......

It was a fantastic place years ago when all the tracks were open. Some very challenging steep 4WD tracks:D

Yep the greenies will lock it up tighter than a scotsman's purse.

I was hoping the shift from mining to NP would open it up more than when it was privately controlled. Time will tell...
